I'm not ready for college. I'm listening to Jai Jagdeesh Kaur and I feel like I'm in a movie or something. Everyone else is so excited to leave home and I'm like hey I just want to curl up in a ball and sleep. Forever (that's not suicidal.. At least I think it's not..). You know, my little cousin Tria is starting high school in the fall and all I wanna do is go through high school again. I know exactly how to do it now and I wouldn't care what anybody thought and it would be amazing. I would make the best of all the opportunities and my education. And then maybe after 4 more years, I would be ready for college. You know just because society says you have to have a college degree to have respect doesn't make it true. not every successful person even graduated high school. But society looks down on you for not "finishing" (whatever that means - why would society determine what finished means for you?) and completing your education. What if I wanted to take a year off and travel the world. People always think there's an ulterior motive like oh she's just saying that but really se can't afford college or she's just lazy. WHY IS IT LAZY IF I DON'T GO TO COLLEGE AND INSTEAD GET A JOB. I'd be making money instead of paying thousands to start from the bottom again after 4 years of college and get a job and pay student loans when I can get a job and make money and avoid that whole scheme altogether?!
